Personal note:
The Cure did 15 shows
in 1997, 13 of them were in the USA (the other 2 in England).
This is the KROQ Weenie Roast show in Irvine. The
entire show was broadcasted on the radio.
Great setlist in a very good quality!
It seems they had to get the
sound right during the first song 'Want'. The distored ambience guitar
is too loud and has way to much feedback,
Roberts vocals are coming in during the last verse.
Other great tracks: 'Fascination Street', 'Never Enough',
'Prayers for Rain' (off course ;), 
'Shiver and Shake' and always nice to hear 'Love Song' live.
Also includes
an almost 9 minute interview with Robert Smith.

Quality:
Since this is a FM recording, you can
expect top quality.
But this one has a few drawbacks. The audio quality in itself is no problem.
First of all,
they announce 'broadcast of the full show with no commercials', but instead of
the commercials the DJ talks during
the intro of several songs (I know, to prevent bootlegging).

KROQ messed up the broadcast. Right after
'Fascination Street' the broadcast stopped and started 
again during 'Lullaby'. The original (dime-)uploader edited
the missing part from an audience recording of
this show. The first part of 'Lullaby' is therefore of lesser
quality. At 02:38 the FM version comes back.
The full audience version of 'Lullaby' is included.
Also a small
(micro-second) drop-out in the intro of 'Shiver and Shake'.

Listening to this show, I can't help get the
feeling they screwed up with the PA mixing.
As said, during 'Want' guitars are too loud and the vocals are much to
late. But during the entire show Perry's
guitar is all the way to the right, also are the keyboards mostly on the
right side.
The volumes of the vocals are all over the place. Probably the only thing which is in balance is the
bass and drums. 
Also the overal recording is at the edge of being too loud.

Nevertheless, because of
the FM quality very good to listen to. Because of the 'almost-too-loud' recording, it
sounds very powerfull.
